# Credits and plans

> How Sila meters usage and what each plan includes.

## Credits

Credits reset each UTC calendar month. Sila charges credits only for pages it returns.

When credits run out, requests return `402 credits_exhausted`. A crawl that runs out mid-way stops with `stopReason: "credits_exhausted"` and keeps the pages it stored.
